Things in February 2014

So what have been happening around this second month of the year.
It has been pretty hectic month frankly speaking.
With Chinese New Year started on 31st January 2014, my preparation to welcome this horse year just as busy as every other year.

As usual, I always do my very own baking but the only difference this year is I only bake about 3-4types cookies which considered lesser than the year before.

And the celebration this year could not be more special as it was our first time to held the praying ceremony at our own home, since all along it has always been at my parent's place.

Excited to start this horse year with all the necessary preparation, I just wish me, my family and friends to have a great year ahead fill with luck and joy abundantly 😄

Amazing August!!

August always been the great month of mine, cos it is the month that I was born.
Decided to present a gift to myself, I crocheted a dress, which I plan to wear on the day of the celebration. Been always wanted to make a dress for myself and I finally accomplished it.

PkuRajuters' Yarn Bombing

Finally, after been planning for few months to held a Yarn Bombing activity in conjunction of celebrating the Indonesian 4th Knit/Crochet Festival & World Wide Knitting/Crochet in Public as well as the 1st birthday of beloved community-PkuRajuters, the event was successfully held.

Taken place at the city garden of Pekanbaru a.k.a Taman Kota, few members of PkuRajuters gathered to  support the activity, by donating some crochet granny squares to wrap the trees in the garden. Though the squares made was not a lot, but it was enough to make a part of garden looks eye-catching & colorful enough.

It also was our first outdoor gathering done. Despite the sunny weather, we all still enjoy and have a lot of fun doing our hobby outdoor. And we are for sure looking forward to another great outdoor activity in the future.

Road to FRI 2012...

Time flies and another year of "Festival Rajutan Indonesian," an Indonesian Knitting/Crochet Festive is coming. It has been the 4th festive since it first held on year 2008 and this year theme is "Merajut Persahabatan" (translate: Knitting Friendship).

This year FRI will held at Bandung on June 30th & July 1st and as usual along the way to the main event, there also will be supporting event held individually by knitter/crocheter at most of cities in Indonesia.

Being involved in the previous pre-event, my community known as Pekanbaru Rajuters has already started to make plan for this year participation. For sure there will be some interesting event will be held in order to enlarge the community in our area. 
Will update you soon once the plan has been finalized ^^

7 Days of Love with Knitting

Taking part in a week project of Thalenta for Valentine this year, titled 7Days of Love, I presented my each day project with Knitting. 


I did a big heart amigurumi, rosebud, white tea rose, heart pincushion, a square  heart pincushion, heart dishcloth, white rose. All done with Knitting.

Celebrating the Water Dragon year

Been a while after i posted my last blog. Well, a lot been going on, been busy with the preparation of the Chinese New Year for sure. My crochet-knitting group come out with a great wishes project for this Chinese New Year by creating our very own Shantang Oranges. Wishing for this water dragon year will bring lotsa sweetness to everyone.

it is my late 20s birthday celebration

17th August 2011, i am officially having my 29th year living in this year.
I am definitely excited & thinking back on what i have achieved for the past 28 years.
The only thing that first come across my mind is definitely the improvement on my knitting & crocheting skills..hahhahhahaa.. guess i'm really obsessed with it already.

My hubby got me a cake with knitting theme & surprisingly it was really nice. Eventhough I did help him with the initial planning on getting the cake, I am still so happy to see my cake. Other than that what makes this year celebration special was to have almost all my family member gather around (except my eldest-younger sister) and best friend of mine, around to join my birthday.

I definitely could not ask for more, as I am more than happy to have although simple yet a meaningful birthday celebration of all. Cos having important people in your life to spare their time for your, that is what most important i guess. Not only that, to only received wishes from friends whom some I only know through social network has brighten up my birthday this year.


With another year of birthday, I just feel so blessed to have a loving hubby & daughter to accompany my everyday, a supportive family members & friends whom some i share the good & bad. Nothing else I could wish for than being happy & healthy all the time, and hoping to achieve the best of all in life...

My Busy July started with FRI 2011

Yup..as written in my post title, my month of July is definitely a busy month.
It's all started with the early preparation for Indonesia Knitting/Crocheting Festive (Festival Rajutan Indonesia) which held on 16-17 July 2011 at Jakarta whereby I was so lucky that I was able to be participate in. It was my first trip outstation after Stella was born & was definitely so excited about it. Furthermore I got to meet up with other members of Dinamic - Cronit which I've known for awhile through email yet never get to know the real person.

 And since it was also gathering moment for Dinamic Cronit member, we decided to give the so called Queen of Dinamic Cronit; Ms.Thata Pang, a belated birthday celebration as well, with a joined knitted-square blanket from all of DC's member as appreciation of her attribute for the group.

Though the trip was tiring, but it was all worth it cos we all have a lots of fun gathering for the event & to me it was unforgettable moment for sure.

Happy Mother's Day

it's 8th May 2011, where all the world is celebrating the love for beloved Mother.
And this year I get to be in it too as it's my very 1st year being a mom now.
Being a mother is never an easy job as i thought before as i been experiencing it now for the past 11 months & yet it is the most incredible experience i will ever have in my life.


So I just wanna wish every beautiful out there a very Happy Mother's Day..
